Goliad Lodge is fortunate to be one of the few lodges in Texas to have an annual visit by Grand Lodge Officers. However, this is not just any visit. This includes the opening of a representation of The Grand Lodge of Texas in our lodge for an official ceremony to pay respects for Col. Fannin, his troops, and civilians massacred before Texas gained its independence. After the lodge is formally closed, we share a meal with brothers from around the state.
